Electrical Project Engineer

AGILE’s Client is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their multidisciplinary design team in Chadds Ford, PA. This role will support complex building and infrastructure projects across aviation, transportation, education, and institutional markets. The selected engineer will report directly to the Electrical Practice Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Project Engineer for electrical engineering assignments
  • Ensure coordination across all design disciplines
  • Contribute to project estimation, scheduling, and constructability analysis
  • Develop electrical design drawings and specifications
  • Conduct site investigations and engineering studies
  • Provide technical input during construction and respond to RFIs
  • Represent the firm at project meetings and client interactions
  • Monitor project production and ensure adherence to schedule and budget
  • Participate in quality assurance and technical reviews of deliverables
  • Maintain documentation and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate with internal design teams and external client reps
  • Address and resolve project-related issues during design and construction
  • Support project scope, schedule, and cost development
  • Ensure production aligns with company quality standards

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license – Required
  • Active NCEES account – Required
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical design experience
  • PMP Certification – Preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical codes and design standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of accountability
  • Familiarity with MEP, fire alarm, and low voltage/ICT systems
  • Experience working on complex public sector and institutional projects
