Electrical Project Engineer

AGILE’s Client is seeking a licensed Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing design team in Chadds Ford, PA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of high-impact infrastructure and facilities projects across aviation, transportation, education, and institutional sectors. The selected candidate will serve as a key contributor on MEP design teams, reporting directly to the Electrical Practice Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Project Engineer on electrical system design and construction assignments
  • Ensure electrical design is coordinated across all disciplines
  • Contribute to planning, estimating, and feasibility assessments
  • Support preparation of design drawings and technical specifications
  • Participate in construction phase services and site surveys
  • Attend project and client meetings, taking ownership of meeting documentation
  • Perform and review technical documentation and quality control
  • Support adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Coordinate with clients and resolve design and construction issues proactively
  • Contribute to internal production standards and team development
  • Interface with clients, owners, and project teams regularly

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license – Required
  • Active NCEES record – Required
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering experience
  • PMP Certification – Preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and design standards
  • Strong communication, coordination, and client engagement skills
  • Basic understanding of integrated MEP/FP/ICT systems
  • Experience supporting QA/QC and production tracking
