Senior Electrical Engineer

AGILE’s Client is seeking a skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer (PE Required) to join their Chadds Ford, PA office. This senior role will engage in the design and management of facility electrical distribution systems, lighting (interior and exterior), low voltage systems (security, communications, data), and emergency backup systems. The position reports to the Project Manager(s) and local Operations Manager.Primary

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Project Manager, Lead Electrical Engineer, and/or Senior Electrical Engineer on varied assignments, depending on project size and complexity
  • Ensure coordinated electrical design across disciplines
  • Develop and review electrical drawings and technical specifications
  • Contribute to project estimating, planning, and construction feasibility analysis
  • Provide advisory support during construction phases and perform site surveys
  • Participate in office, client, and project meetings to ensure project success
  • Monitor project production, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Conduct engineering studies and technical reviews of documentation and drawings
  • Follow up with design and production staff to resolve issues
  • Lead and participate in internal project meetings, including documenting minutes

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required
  • 8 to 10+ years progressive experience in technical and management roles within electrical engineering
  • Valid US driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-hire drug screening, background checks, and meet security clearance requirements (FBI, State Police, DHS threat assessment)
  • Proficiency in project/task management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA Life Safety Codes, and applicable local building codes
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Visual, GenSize, and SKM Power Tools software
  • Detail-oriented with strong safety focus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
