Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical system design for high-performance environments, including data centers, infrastructure, commercial buildings, and laboratory facilities
  • Supervise and mentor electrical staff engineers and designers
  • Conduct detailed electrical load calculations and system planning
  • Develop technical specifications for UPS systems, low and medium-voltage switchgear, and emergency/standby generators
  • Perform Short Circuit, Selective Coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis Studies
  • Design and specify paralleling generator systems and other critical backup infrastructure
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and software tools such as Etap and Capper/Dapper
  • Lead field surveys and perform extensive construction administration oversight
  • Serve as a technical lead in client meetings and design review sessions

Key Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering design
  • BS or MS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) strongly preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical modeling tools (Etap, Capper/Dapper, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated expertise in data center, critical facility, and infrastructure design
  • Skilled in the development of design documents and technical specifications
  • Strong written communication and technical reporting abilities
  • Experience managing project schedules, QA/QC, and mentoring junior team members
