Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design most plumbing and fire protection systems using firm standards and project-specific logic
• Perform system sizing, flow, and pressure calculations, validating inputs and outputs for accuracy
• Attend client meetings and represent the firm with technical poise
• Coach junior and intermediate designers, reviewing work and answering questions with clarity

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive plumbing & fire protection design experience, including project ownership and interdisciplinary coordination
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Revit, and design tools for complete plumbing and fire protection packages
• Clear understanding of relevant codes, standards, and system applications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline preferred; FE certification or PE pursuit a plus
