AGILE’s Client is seeking a Principal-level MEP Engineering leader to guide technical excellence, client relationships, staff development, and strategic growth. This senior leadership opportunity provides influence across complex Building Systems projects while supporting the continued development of multidisciplinary engineering teams and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design plumbing and fire protection systems, including domestic water, sanitary drainage & vent, storm drainage, pumping, natural gas distribution, and clean agent suppression systems
  • Perform system selections, prepare preliminary designs, and develop performance specifications
  • Consult on due diligence reviews, sustainability analyses, and feasibility studies
  • Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Execute design calculations to meet state/local code requirements; produce documentation aligned with client/project standards
  • Represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and team members
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers/designers
  • Support delivery of both small and large-scale projects independently with minimal supervision

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (PE license highly preferred)
  • Minimum 4+ years plumbing/fire protection design experience; project management experience desirable
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, drafting standards, and plumbing/fire protection standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Understanding of construction processes and ability to interpret construction drawings
  • Working knowledge of diverse plumbing system applications
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams
