Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other disciplines within the firm to advance electrical and controls aspects of water, wastewater, and architectural projects
- Apply electrical design principles to guide development of plans and specifications for capital improvement projects
- Lead and support technical development and design performed by a team of staff engineers
- Guide staff engineers throughout construction submittal reviews
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
- 10-20 years of consulting engineering experience with power and control system design/construction
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience as lead engineer on projects and managing/mentoring staff engineers
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Water/Wastewater municipal consulting experience
- Proficient in preparation of plans and specifications for power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc.
- Professional Engineering License in New York State (preferred)
