Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other disciplines within the firm to advance electrical and controls aspects of water, wastewater, and architectural projects
  • Apply electrical design principles to guide development of plans and specifications for capital improvement projects
  • Lead and support technical development and design performed by a team of staff engineers
  • Guide staff engineers throughout construction submittal reviews

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • 10-20 years of consulting engineering experience with power and control system design/construction
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience as lead engineer on projects and managing/mentoring staff engineers
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Water/Wastewater municipal consulting experience
  • Proficient in preparation of plans and specifications for power distribution, lighting, control systems, etc.
  • Professional Engineering License in New York State (preferred)
