Key Responsibilities

  • Own technical accuracy and quality of all electrical engineering deliverables from the Design Studio
  • Review and verify design completeness, detect conflicts, and ensure alignment with client objectives
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Practice Lead to uphold design innovation and technical expertise within the team
  • Optimize studio staff utilization in coordination with project managers
  • Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop staff at all levels; oversee performance management and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Provide technical input for proposals, presentations, and ensure specification accuracy
  • Maintain compliance with billing codes and company quality standards
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and vendors throughout project phases including design, bidding, and construction administration
  • Participate actively in client meetings to report progress and resolve issues
  • Perform QA/QC and other duties supporting company standards and continuous improvement

Key Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with minimum 10 years’ experience in electrical engineering
  • Deep knowledge of engineering principles, design-to-completion processes, and QA/QC standards
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to model company leadership expectations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to maintain discretion and uphold company policies with integrity
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering design packages and company standards
