Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical distribution systems including power, lighting, and fire alarm
- Prepare contract drawings, technical specifications, and design calculations
- Conduct field surveys and site assessments for design development
- Ensure code compliance and apply current electrical engineering standards
- Coordinate with in-house mechanical and plumbing disciplines
- Support client meetings, vendor coordination, and project execution
- Utilize AutoCAD for plan production and revisions
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience within a consulting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Prefer EIT, PE (or working toward licensure)
- Solid knowledge of power distribution, emergency systems, lighting, and fire alarm design
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable conducting field surveys and translating site data into technical drawings
- Familiarity with the NEC, local building codes, and applicable industry standards
